Turners at Memorial Day ceremonies at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery

Turner Brigade members participated in the annual Memorial Day Service at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in south St. Louis County, Missouri, on Monday, May 28, presented by the Inter-Veterans Memorial Memorial Day Service Committee.  Brigade members marched in the parade and served in the honor guard at the ceremonial casket.  Following the main ceremony,  a Union Civil War ceremony was held in the Civil War cemetery area with a musket and an artillery salute, followed by a Confederate ceremony.
